In 1966, the Platner Collection captured the “decorative, gentle, graceful” shapes that were beginning to infiltrate the modern vocabulary. The Easy Chair is created by welding curved steel rods to circular and semi-circular frames, simultaneously serving as structure and ornament.
Chair with a moulded fibreglass seat shell with foam cushions, the base is made of vertical and circular horizontal steel rods. Base available in polished nickel and metallic bronze paint finishes. A clear plastic extrusion ring on the bottom of the frame creates a smooth bottom surface.
