Designed by Joe Colombo in 1965, Spider went on to win the Compasso d’Oro award in 1967. Currently,  It is part of the permanent collections of the Milan Triennale, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Kunstmuseum of Düsseldorf and the “Neue Sammlung Museum” in Munich. In 1972 it went on show at the “Italy: The New Domestic Landscape” exhibition in New York.

This table lamp has a stove-enamelled sheet metal reflector purposely designed to take a special horizontal spot light bulb, while a plastic joint allows the reflector to tilt. 

Table lamp with a lacquered metal base, a chromium-plated stem and an adjustable reflector in lacquered aluminum. Available in a choice of black or white. 

Light source - 1 X max 60W G9.
