In the design of Lampampe, Ingo Maurer has taken up the form of traditional lampshades and yet formulated a new aesthetic. The Lampampe shade is handmade in Ingo Maurer's own production in Munich. The paper produces a soft, completely glare-free light and is slightly crumpled as a deliberate design element. Lampampe fits perfectly with different furnishing styles.
From the very beginning, Ingo Maurer has focused on paper with all its qualities and beauty. As the saying goes: paper makes rooms look better. Lampampe is one of the poetic paper lamps made of Japanese paper by Ingo Maurer.
