Willy Janssen established Atelier Vierkant in 1992 in the Belgian port town of Bruges in order create the world’s only square terracotta pots which were traditionally round. Vierkant means "square".  With nothing but clay as a medium, each simple but elegant planter, is hand-made and unique. From planning and design to production and packing, human eyes and hands are involved in all processes.

Atelier Vierkant offers a range of eight clay bodies, coloured in the mass with natural oxides. Chromatic consistency, durability and resistance to continuous exposure to uv rays, humidity and frost, make their beautiful products last a lifetime.

Conditions & Exceptions

Sale and clearance prices offered by competitors do not qualify. Shipping, handling, currency conversion, or any other cost factors are considered to be part of the price, not just the base price or sticker price of the product. Some manufacturers specify the retail prices of their products. In such cases, we can do no better than match the prices of our competitors, as dictated by the manufacturer.


Policies

Purchased items are available for pickup, local delivery, or shipping. Upon completing your purchase, you will have the option to select Local Pickup or Shipping at checkout.

All orders over $100 that are considered a small or medium parcel will receive free domestic shipping. This condition may not apply to sale items.

Clients who select the ‘Local Pickup’ option will be contacted within 2 business days with confirmation of when and where their items will be available for pickup.

Clients who select the ‘Shipping’ option will be contacted within 2 business days to coordinate details and cost.
