John Pawson's minimal aesthetic is magically translated to glass in his glassware collection. The Pawson Wine Glass has a feminine bell-shaped curve balanced by a stout bottom, together forming an object that beckons to be held.
The glassware is a part of John Pawson's tableware collection for the Abbey of Nový Dvůr in Bohemia. It began with the idea of equipping the refectory of the Abbey with a set of implements and vessels appropriate to the functional and aesthetic needs of the monastic community.
