First designed and in production since 1975, the curious shape and design of the Aoy Table lamp add a touch of contemporary style to any home it is placed in. The lamp is made from hand-blown glass—there are no metal pieces involved.
Achille Castiglioni designed this with the clear intention of making full use of the light that usually gets wasted on the stem. His love for cats is clearly visible in this design, the small opening on the bottom provides a warm resting place and it is also convenient when trying to clean the area below.
This modern table lamp features a clear glass cylindrical outer body. A white opal glass diffuser/reflector is inside the cylinder on the top part of the body.
