WaterRower Original Rowing Machine

Regular price $2,199

The WaterRower Original Rowing Machine is hand crafted in solid wood with a choice of wood types and finishes. The wood has been chosen due to its marvellous engineering properties, primary amongst these is its ability to absorb sound and vibration enhancing the WaterRower's quietness and smoothness of use. For reasons of ecology, all woods are harvested from renewable forests. Each machine has been hand finished with Danish Oil for protection.

Each machine features the S4 Performance Monitor, patented WaterFlywheel technology, unrivalled in its replication of the resistance felt in on the water rowing.

Designed in the mid '80s by Yale and US National Team Rower John Duke who formed WaterRower Inc in 1988 in Rhode Island, in the North Eastern United States. Today their Americas Headquarters continues to be based in Rhode Island, in the small coastal town of Warren.

Solid wood rowing machine with a dual rail frame, available in Black Walnut, Natural Ash and Oxbridge Cherry. Includes wheels for easy moving and storage.

Please note that the Oxbridge Cherry wood will darken in colour with exposure to light. For this reason, all WaterRower cherry wood components are kept in light-free rooms to protect them from shadowing. A new WaterRower Cherry will therefore appear quite light in colour. The wood will however darken over time reaching a rich reddish hue.
