Included in the Collection Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand, the LC9 Tabouret historic design stool has a very special architectural shape that faithfully reflects the Perriands love of conceptual harmony. The first version of this stool was for the designer’s own dining room in her Paris apartment and was made of tubular steel with a rattan seat. In 1929, the design was shown as part of the “Équipement intérieur d’une Habitation” exhibit at the Salon d’Automne in Paris, where it was used in the salle de bain with a terry towelling seat, as appropriate in the space where personal care reigns supreme.

For use as a low stool, low lounge table or living room coffee table, the model features a structure in chrome-plated steel customizable with different upholstery materials that, aside from terry cloth, include saddle-hide and the classic rattan.

Low stool with a steel rod frame with a chrome or lacquered enamel finish. Seat available in leather, Indian cane (Rattan) or white towel stretch fabric.

W51 x D38 x H46 cm.
